2009 is closing as we’re entering a decade into the 21st century. A great deal of things have happened since January, it’s been a very weird, wonderful, distressing, colorful, awesome, exhausting, bitter sweet journey for me. And looking back from December, I’m glad I somehow survived this year with quite a pretty report card.
It’s also a year of many firsts for me, and I could say that some of the biggest events of my life happened in 2009. I cried with joys, I cried with regrets, and I learned so much from that. Here are some of the events and ‘firsts’ in my 2009:
- Got my first car, thanks to Babah and Mak!

- First ‘break’ from MMU, 3 months of internship at Damansara – learned a lot of stuff about work and people. Stressful experience indeed.
- Getting warded for a week, and sick for more than a month during H1N1 outbreak some more. Scary.
- Played with fire and merely escaped – with scratches and scars.
- Got a second chance and been forgiven for something that I should not been forgave about. Feel like being break free from a cage and able to breathe the good old, fresh air again.
- Travel to Sabah – first time leaving the peninsular! Better late than never.
- Death of my beloved Chucker – really painful to accept my bully-mate is gone forever.
- Bought a gadget worth more than 2k without a single regret – embracing the technology, baby!
- First case of hair loss – thank god it’s only temporary (should be)
- Wall climbing! Paintball, BMX and bungee jumping are next on my list.
- Getting in a mess with the higher ups. I think it’s in my genes – always got this problem around me since primary school. Berani kerana benar is my motto by the way.
- Went to Perhentian and don’t want to leave. Must visit every year.
- Entering the last phase in my university life. Gonna miss a lot of things here.
- And of course a lot more that I can’t put in the picture..
Thanks 2009, for the opportunities. So, hello 2010. Let’s talk business.
