I never know that there’s such a cool place in Putrajaya called the Challenge Park. To go there (closest route from Cyberjaya) is through Dengkil, and got Chinese graveyard some more. How the heck should I know right! Anyway, L was awesome enough to invite us to join the rest of MMU team for this anti-gravity sport.
And I love it! Since I love to climb trees, rocks, school buildings since I was a kid. Heck I even fell down from the roof top during cigarette raid back in my school days -__-”
And yeah, the hardest part is to overcome the gravity that keeps pulling you down non-stop. Using special shoes (made of sand paper!?) to stand on tiny boulders, you need to push yourself up up up. Until one point where I literally can’t feel my fingers. And down there they kept shouting stuff like ‘don’t give up‘, ‘just a little more‘ and shit and I was like “wafak where’s my hands when I need them!”
Wall climbing does make you think about death. Especially when there’s only a single rope that keeps you hanging like 30 ft up there. Just looking up at the wall makes my palms and feet sweat but I have to overcome my fear, because I always tease my dad who’s afraid even at the sight of a sky scrapper hehe. One way of motivating myself from giving up is by making myself into believing that there’s a pretty amoi on the top waiting for me.
Frankly I underestimated this sport. I mean, what else do you need to prepare right? Just climb it up and reach the top as fast as possible. Hoho, unless you have limbs like orang utan or the chimps, you got to try it first before you can say anything.
Let’s panjat-panjat again next time!
