Raison d’être

Ok, here’s my problem plain and simple in translation: Should I let go my aged Nikon D80 and upgrade to D90? Keeping both is out of the question at this moment as the MM-fu**ing-U is keep asking money from me!

I’m seriously thinking of upgrading because the thing with technology is, newer stuff is almost always better and relatively cheaper, and old technologies become obsolete real fast! If I use my camera just to shoot for fun 2-3 times a month, I’d rather save my money and wait for the D90′s replacement. But it is when I really depend on it, especially when shooting events in low-light condition – I keep thinking how much time I can save / how better my images could be if I have upgraded my camera.

Based on Nikon’s model release cycle, which is 18-24 months, it is possible that we’ll see a D90′s replacement around August. Can I wait until that? LOL, August should be my convocation already.

I’m sick of regretting after buying something, and few months later either the price drop or new model come out. I’m on a tight budget, sir! I know patience is a virtue. Guess I’ll just need to wait until I run out of virtues >.<
